The new dawn of all human life

NPO KOMA has been dedicating itself to building the future of the world, by organizing a series of concerts, on a global scale, by the Japanese artist Idaki Shin.
We started by organizing an Idaki Shin Concert on 19th July, 2003, in the very heart of Japan, at one of its oldest historic sites, Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, in Ooyunohara. This concert was entitled "Light crossing over the landscape suggests a vision of the world resurrected." This concert was responding to the urgent need to revive the original spirituality of Japanese people facing the chaotic present situation. It was followed by another concert entitled "Torch of Peace," in Tanzania on 25th August 2003. This was an official cultural event of the SADC conference, a regional gathering of the heads of states of 14 member countries.
Throughout history, Kumano has welcomed everybody, regardless of circumstances, social level, gender or religion. Idaki Shin serves people in the same way as Kumano Shrine, but through music, hoping that his particularly Japanese manner will be helpful to people all over the world. In Tanzania, following the profound wishes of its people, symbolically expressed as a torch of peace on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, he redefined "peace", through his improvisational performance, marshalling the power to drive forth a new era of human history. He interpreted the key to this energy of peace musically, in relationship with the first scream of a new born baby.
Each person is connected with the rest of the world, so when, during our concert, one really becomes filled with brilliant vigor, and starts to live a wonderful life, such energy will diffuse all over the world, and will constitute the basis for future generations to live a truly peaceful life.
